Erik and I went exploring in Noe Valley the other night to discover if it would be an okay place to live. It would. It has a really offbeat urban neighborhood feel since it’s near enough to the Mission to get the young grunge vibe but far enough to avoid the crack fiends and prostitutes. It has a ton of character and cute bars, shops, and restaurants. The outlook on the place we liked is not looking good right now (fingers still crossed), but at least we now know of a new area to hang out in.
The Lone Palm has a resident pooch.
Bliss Bar has a bodacious door handle. I almost got a little jealous when Erik grasped it to open the door for me.They made up for it by having yummy cocktails. I got a “french kiss” and E had the cucumber martini.
And of course, a perfect opportunity for an outfit post…
Top: Modcloth’s “French Toast” top
Shorts: from Sway
Jacket: UO Silence & Noise
I’m really loving Urban Outfitters’ nailpolish these days. It lasted for ages before chipping and the colors come out really vibrant. The stopwatch necklace is also UO.
Noe Valley, you’re a-okay by me.
